When Lynn phoned and gave me the news about my presidency, I felt shocked, excited and nervous all at the same time.

I was also surprised to immediately feel a sense of God’s presence come upon me for the task. I see it as a privilege to be asked to serve our movement and encourage us in our vision in ‘growing healthy churches in relationship for God’s mission’

VICE PRESIDENT'S VLOG

Alex will serve as President from May 2026 - May 2027 and will be inaugurated at Harrogate Convention Centre 15-17 May 2026 at the forthcoming Baptist Assembly. The former Baptist President (May 2024- May 2025) is Steve Finamore, who now serves as post President.
